Recall Alert: Jeep Grand Cherokee, Grand Cherokee L

Jeep is recalling about 9,400 Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L SUVs from model years 2023 and 2024 because their high beams may not turn on when needed.

Jeep tells the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) that the programming that controls the headlights in some vehicles leaves drivers unable to activate the high beams if the headlights are set to AUTO. The high beams in those cars should still work when the driver turns the lights on manually.

Dealers will reprogram the headlights to fix the problem.

By law, dealers don’t charge for recall repairs.

Manufacturers try to reach every owner to warn them. However, some may fall through the system’s cracks and unknowingly drive recalled cars. Check our easy recall tool to determine if your vehicle has any outstanding recalls.
